California Recap

We hope you all have had a wonderful week, because we sure did!

After being delayed almost 7 hours, we finally took off and headed for Southern California to visit our cousins.

Basically we did everything that Orange County (apparently only outsiders call it the OC) has to offer and much more. Here are some of the highlights!

The first day we went to Disneyland. As skeptical Disney World lovers, we weren’t too sure how much we would like it but it actually turned out great! Rides aren’t really our thing so we stuck to Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh while sister and cousin went on Space Mountain. And we might have waited on line to met some princesses with the five year olds!

We had so much fun that we let our cousins take us back that night to California Adventure! And even though we protested, we were forced to go on Tower of Terror. Despite a small panic attack, we survived and had some fun! We also visited Cars Land, which was very cute, and the rides are surprisingly great.

The next day we drove to Hollywood to see the Chinese Theatre and the Walk of Fame. If you visit, definitely take a tour of the inside. We saw the dressing room where Marilyn Monroe got ready for premieres, and saw where Brad and Angelina’s family sat to watch Happy Feet! If the architecture itself doesn’t impress you, at least the air conditioning will feel nice.

As Audrey Hepburn is our absolute favorite actress and icon, we had to find her star! It took a while but we finally found it at Hollywood and Vine, one of her favorite places when she was alive.

Then we ventured on to Beverly Hills. We didn’t buy anything on Rodeo Drive (hardly anyone was walking around with bags) but we had fun taking pictures!

We also went to Warner Bros Studios and saw a ton of really interesting sets like the one for Pretty Little Liars. We even got to sit on the Friends couch!

We did so many fun things that if we put them all in this post it would be a novel!

Keep entering our giveaway and have a great rest of the weekend!
